Welcome to our Parish!

Thank you for visiting our parish family website, which we hope you have found to be helpful.

If you are living in the area, we hope you will be able to come and join us in gathering as God’s family each Sunday to give thanks, praise and worship to God, Our Father, through Jesus in the Holy Spirit.

As a Catholic Church and Faith Community, we give thanks to God for the gift of our Faith, for the gift of one another as Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and for the gift of where we have been planted in beautiful Whitchurch Stouffville, an area rich in its Christian faith and heritage.

We are all on a great journey, the journey of life itself, to our heavenly homeland, the New Jerusalem, having been blessed with the great advantage of being incorporated into the Body of Christ as sons and daughters of the Father through spiritual adoption. This blessing grows and develops as we gather each week as His family in worship, to be nourished by the Word of God and the Body and Blood of Christ Himself. It is here that we come to know one another and put our gifts at the service of God and his family, the Church. We hope you will follow the stirrings of your hearts which have led you here.

If you haven’t taken this step, you are most welcome to “come and see” as Jesus himself invited those who were to become His first disciples.

Each fall we have a program that introduces those who are interested in the Catholic Faith and prepares them for Baptism should they decide to proceed. This likewise applies for those who are already Baptized but would like to be received into the Catholic Church.

Till then, in the meantime, we ask for your prayers and assure you of ours.

Looking forward to beginning that friendship in Christ which God Our Father wishes to deepen and grow and last for eternity.

God bless,

Fr. Michael Hughes
Pastor
