Sacramental Information

Retreat Groups

For your child’s Sacramental Preparation Retreats, please indicate your first and second choice for their group. As this process is on a first-come first-serve basis, the group your child will be placed in will only be confirmed by email after the registration evening at St. Brendan's School on September 28th and after all required documents and payments have been received. The retreats are mandatory and must be attended before reception of the sacraments.

GROUP A
Retreat Dates: Saturday, November 24 and Saturday, April 27
Time: 12 pm to 1:30 pm
Location: St. Mark's School gym

GROUP B
Retreat Dates: Saturday, November 24 and Saturday, April 27
Time: 2 pm to 3:30 pm
Location: St. Mark's School gym

First Communion Celebration

Due to the church expansion, we will be holding all First Communion ceremonies and rehearsals in the gym of St. Mark's Elementary School. Each child will attend the rehearsal/ceremony date assigned to their school. Children who attend public/private schools have been assigned their own date for their rehearsal and ceremony.

* Please note there has been a change of ceremony date for Ms. Paris Leblanc (Giamblanco)'s class to June 2nd, 2019.

Acceptance into the First Communion program will only be secured and confirmed by email after parents attend the mandatory registration evening at St. Brendan School on Friday, September 28th and after all required documents and payments have been received.

Volunteers

There are three opportunities for parents to volunteer during the course of the program.

1) Assist with homework check before Mass

2) Retreat Day Volunteer

3) Rehearsal and Ceremony Volunteer

In order to complete the registration process, at least one parent must attend the Registration Night at St. Brendan School on Friday, September 28th, 2018. Please bring a photocopy of your child's Baptismal Certificate and the registration fee. Thank you.
